Annapurna Base Camp Trek in July with local professional Guide - Annapurna Base Camp Nepal - Annapurna Trekking

If you are planning to do the Annapurna Treks in the monsoon you must do well prepared and aware of the weather condition. Usually, in the monsoon season heavy rains, completely muddy paths, and thick cloudy around the mountains that sometimes you cannot see the beautiful views. We highly recommend the Annapurna Treks in the spring and autumn seasons. These two seasons are the most favorable and good time to trek around the Himalayas in Nepal.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek in July or August is an adventure during the wet and heavy rainfall on the trail. No wonder it will be an exciting hike to explore the cultures with various landscapes. In the morning time, most of the days would be clear and open the views a few times that you must take a picture at the right time.   The trekkers get advantages and disadvantages too as well as in the monsoon season you can feel peaceful and you can deeply lose in the nature but in peak season you can beautiful views but a big crowded along the trek.

The good side and advantage are walking in the off-season encountering few trekkers or none at all. The trail will be almost empty, amidst lush green dense vegetation of ferns and various species of plants. The mid-hills before reaching Annapurna Base Camp and Sanctuary will be refreshing green due to the heavy moisture of rainfall.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the best destinations to explore and discover the Annapurna Himalayas and the multi-ethnic cultures of Annapurna valley. Where the flow of trekkers will be less and in minimum numbers, walking on a tranquil path. Chances of clear views of the snow mountain range will be less, and most days will be cloudy with mist-filled forest.

Around the Annapurna Himalayas, the southern region of massive Annapurna gets the most rainfall of average 600 to 800 mm. Which is during the monsoon month of June to August till mid-September of pre-autumn times.

Similarly the areas on route Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp Trail with the highest monsoon heavy rains. Where most days the views of snow peaks, are obstructed by dark clouds and fogs, chances are slim. However, it will be an enjoyable walk into a beautiful forest, authentic villages, hills, and blissful mountains.  Only a few guest houses are available for overnight halts as well for lunch stops during the monsoon season. In these situations, trekkers have to accept and take the challenges of finding the lodge from one place to another.

Leaving the main permanent Gurung village of Chomrong is the last villae then trails up to Annapurna Base Camp. Chances of finding an overnight stop at a designated place are few like in Bamboo, Dovan, Himalaya Hotel, Deurali, MBC, and ABC.
