Altitude Mountain Sickness in Nepal
Altitude
Mountain sickness is starting to us from 1,500 to 2,000 meters upwards. Altitude
sickness often known as acute mountain sickness (A.M.S) in general may occur
when people climb too quickly normally at an altitude of over 3000m. The higher we
go on the earth the air pressure becomes the lower which means the thinner air. The
AMS is any type of symptoms bring us. Every person needs oxygen to survive and
if we go higher on the earth then there is a lack of air upward the earth and
people start from altitude sickness, not only do our muscles need it but so do
things like our brains and digestive system. Most people will feel some
effect of altitude, shortness of breath, and possibly a normal head, which is
fairly common. And that time our body starts to produce more red blood cells to

sickness and trekker should take a rest for a day or two and drink lots of
fluids. Be prepared to urinate more throughout the day and night. You should keep
your hands, feet, and extremities as dry as possible. When you are suffering from
altitude sickness you should avoid wet hats, wet socks, and wet boots and gloves.
If symptoms have completely disappeared, the
trekker can ascend again, and if symptoms continue to worsen the victim should
continue to descend or be evacuated.
